2012 Begins! (Woops, already mid Jan!)

Wow - a new year, and a year for fresh starts! Finally back on board after moving the family to Echuca, country Victoria. Plenty of exciting times to come for us and for The Fair Trade Store! Soooooo sorry for the lengthy holiday from the blogging world - I promise to make up for it!


As a big fan of photography and photographic books, I thought I would start the year with some beautiful pics by James Mollison. These photographs were published in a book titled 'Where Children Sleep', offering us an insight into the global child and their bedroom, from a range of backgrounds and cultures. No matter how simple or elaborate, the childhood bedroom is always remembered. A place of child dreaming, solace and sometimes treasured collections, these pictures compell you to consider your own values and fortune.
